Venice is THE children friendly city, totally devoid of vehicles where our small friends can feel safe to move around as they like. The walking part of the tour is intended to keep the attention of your kids in a vivid mode and to answer their questions using a simple and clear language to provide them an overall picture of Venice’s main facts.
In St. Mark’s cathedral we’ll visit its upper section where through a series of models and panels the kids will find out about how the church was built and what’s behind the making of the largest ‘puzzle, the ever saw, the mosaics for which the building is world famous.
The water nature of Venice is a magnet for all kids and the best way to fulfill their attention is to enjoy a waterborne ride through the canals and explain them all about this unique urban environment always drawing their attention as they lean from the boat in safety.
The highlight of the tour will be the visit of a local artisan producing wood marionettes. Let the kids find out about a magic time where any story came true giving life to characters by stringing marionettes. Mr. Geppetto still exists!
